A New Therapy approved for Advanced Prostate Cancer!

How will this treatment work?

This drug is super effective in delaying cancer progression.

Prior to giving this drug, the doctor checks the eligibility of men. For that, he injects a radioactive tracer that passes through the blood vessels searching for and then adheres to PSMA protein. That tracer marks out the cancerous cells upon an exceptional scanning technology called positron-emission tomography. This treatment is inefficacious for those who have PSMA-negative tumors

Are there any side effects of this treatment?

Rather than facing cancer at worst, side effects are worth tolerating. Generally, this drug is well-manageable, however, there is a possibility of experiencing some side effects such as nausea, tiredness, bone marrow suppression or kidney problems etc.
